Digital Media Planner

Position summary

The Digital Communication Specialist will be responsible for analysis and insights that help shape the digital campaign, across full spectrum of digital channels (Display, Video, Mobile, Social, Search). This candidate must strive to ensure data used in the analytics process are accurate and robust, and think strategically, identify issues that need resolving and optimizing and work proactively & prioritize resources to deliver on the task.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Feedback from digital media strategy and activation teams

  • Clients are making progress toward the achievement of their objectives and recognize emerging media’s contribution to their overall plans

Primary Points of Contact

Will work closely with Communication Analysts, Architects, Directors and Buyers in addition to interaction with Account, Strategy and Creative teams.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute in the development, implementation and maintenance of media objectives/strategies and plans utilizing research tools and historical data
  • Write, analyze and present point-of-views and plans to agency and client audiences
  • Coach, guide, inspire, lead and manage performance of all direct reports
  • Ability to construct digital media plans including all key elements with minimal guidance
  • Apply strong understanding of various digital media vehicles including strengths, weaknesses and required media calculations
  • Use analysis and insights that help shape plan recommendations, across full spectrum of digital channels (Display, Video, Mobile, Social, Search), using digital measurement techniques, tools and metrics across the media portfolio.
  • Meet with sales representatives to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan
  • Work with calculations and other quantitative data
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience within a digital marketing environment
  • Strong communication skills; written, verbal and presentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective team player
  • Working comprehension of strategy development
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and take direction from various sources
  • Able to use good judgment when making business decisions and performing tasks
  • Proficient with MS Office, DFA, IMS, Simmons, Nielsen, MediaOcean and other industry software tools
  • Able to apply critical thinking and analysis in business writing
  • Familiarity with Search, Social Media & Mobile a plus

Work environment

Long hours are often necessary; evenings and/or weekend work may be required.  And there can be a limited amount of travel associated with this position.  Conill is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment.  There may be times when lifting up to 25lbs is required.
