Project Manager (bilingual Spanish/English)

The primary focus of a Project Manager (PM) is to be a steward of the project, leading it across all disciplines.  The PM’s goal is to ensure the timely input (from experts in all areas) required for successful delivery of the completed project. The PM is someone who can adeptly keep things moving forward, create/manage timelines and assets. The PM will be assertive, proactive, and operate with a high level of accountability.  The PM ensures quality by soliciting stakeholder input and fostering a culture where team members connect. He/she embraces the Conill spirit of One Team, One Dream, Nothing is Impossible. Bilingual English/Spanish is required

 

Reports to

Associate Director, Integrated Project Management .

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

Responsibilities

Bring about transparency by daily communication with team to ensure projects are flowing smoothly and on schedule.

Provide sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

Facilitate; do whatever it takes to make sure the team can get the job done.

Troubleshoot and problem solve. Expedite the inevitable “crisis” job.

Pro-actively obtain and communicate project status and next steps.

Foster collaboration; identify and bring together appropriate team members to get things done.

Inform and control workflow; tactically manage day-to-day project operations and communications.

Maintain proper lines of communication across the entire project team; proactively identify areas where communication gaps exist.

See the big picture, be on top of details, identify and escalate issues.

Help foster a harmonious work environment.

Facilitates the day-to-day deliverables of internal deadlines (based on clients’ due dates) with a focus on stabilizing the shifting project triangle; scope, schedule and budget.

Routes layouts, copy, content decks, images, proofs, etc. for internal approvals to ensure internal quality controls are transpiring (creative approvals, proofreading, production, business affairs, media, and etc.).

Champions the agency’s process to ensure that high quality work is delivered.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date project files.

Collects and retains a concrete record of approvals.

Facilitate creative development process.

Lead status meetings and project team meetings.

Learn, maintain and communicate correct procedures.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2-4 years well-rounded project management experience required. Cross-discipline experience is a plus, but experience in one specific medium (broadcast, print or digital) will be considered. 

Qualifications

Production knowledge a must.Digital experience preferred.

Proficient with Internet and email applications, Acrobat, MS Office Suite.

Able to work extended hours, including weekends, as required.

Able to work well under pressure.

Highly organized.

Skilled multi-tasker.

Maintains a positive attitude.

Highly motivated to seek solutions.

Fluency in the English and Spanish language is required for this position.

 

Work environment

Long hours are often necessary and there can be a limited amount of travel associated with this position. Overtime, including evenings and/or weekend work may be required.  Conill is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment.  There may be times when lifting up to 25lbs is required.
