Integrated Media Planner

Position summary

The Integrated Media Planner will be responsible for analysis and insights that help shape traditional/digital campaigns, across  digital and traditional channels (Display, Video, Mobile, Social, Search, TV/Radio, OOH… ). This candidate must strive to ensure data used in the analytics process are accurate and robust, and think strategically, identify issues that need resolving and optimizing and work proactively & prioritize resources to deliver on the task. Group Media Director  

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

Primary Points of Contact

Will work closely with Assistant Integrated Media Planner, Supervisor, Directors and Buyers in addition to interaction with Account, Analytics, Strategy and Creative teams.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Contribute in the development, implementation and maintenance of media objectives/strategies and plans utilizing research tools and historical data

Write, analyze and present point-of-views and plans to agency and client audiences

Coach, guide, inspire, lead and manage performance of all direct reports

Ability to construct media plans including all key elements with minimal guidance

Apply strong understanding of various digital media vehicles including strengths, weaknesses and required media calculations

Use analysis and insights that help shape plan recommendations, across full spectrum of channels (Display, Video, Mobile, Social, Search, Radio, OOH, Print), using measurement techniques, tools and metrics across the media portfolio.

Meet with sales representatives to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan

Work with calculations and other quantitative data. All other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

2-3 years experience within a media agency environment

Strong communication skills; written, verbal and presentation

Digital and Traditional Media Planning experience.

Strong interpersonal skills, effective team player

Working comprehension of strategy development

Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and take direction from various sources

Able to use good judgment when making business decisions and performing tasks

Proficient with MS Office, DCM, IMS, comScore, Simmons, Nielsen, MediaOcean and other industry software tools

Able to apply critical thinking and analysis in business writing

Familiarity with Paid Search, Social Media & Programmatic a plus

 

Work environment

Long hours are often necessary; evenings and/or weekend work may be required.  And there can be a limited amount of travel associated with this position.  Conill is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment.  There may be times when lifting up to 25lbs is required.
