Freelance Media/Web Analytics Supervisor

We have an immediate freelance need for a Media/Web Analytics Supervisor who will be responsible for DART reporting, Analytics, CTR, Back end conversions, website analytics using site catalyst (Omniture), and interpreting the data findings into a client friendly format. This a  freelance role that may grow into something more down the road.

The Media/Web Analyst will be responsible for tracking web traffic, generating tags and providing recommendations based on data analysis. Prepare and present reports to clients based on thorough analysis. This candidate must strive to ensure data used is accurate and robust, thinks strategically, identifies issues that need resolving, and works proactively & prioritize resources to deliver on the task.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

Feedback from digital media, digital production and account management teams

Clients are making progress toward the achievement of their objectives and recognize web analytics as a key contributor to their overall plans

The Web Analyst will work closely with the Digital Production, Social Media and Digital Media and Analytics teams.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Track web traffic

Deliverables will include weekly/monthly reports

Present insights internally and provide recommendation on how to improve traffic from a paid and owned media stand point; provide real-time recommendations on website content, design, and placements

Perform and develop strategic analyses to support traffic goals

Create tagging specifications and manage analytics tagging codes for website and mobile initiatives

Communicate with clients regarding insights, assessments, and data-driven recommendations

Write, analyze and present point-of-views and plans to agency and client audiences

Explore the impact that social, mobile, video, and search strategies have on web traffic and provide recommendation to involved teams

Qualifications

2 years’ experience delivering analysis and identifying trends within a digital marketing environment

Understanding of web analytic systems (Google Analytics, Omniture, Web Trends, Coremetrics) and online advertising systems (Ad Words, DART/DoubleClick, Atlas, etc.)

Excellent analytical, numerical, strategic and influencing skills, with the ability to be detailed & deadline-oriented while managing multiple projects

Ability to influence and build relationships quickly and to work collaboratively across a number of departments and teams

Ability to manage projects from conception to completion and to lead disparate groups of people to work effectively as a team

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information in the most engaging and “story-telling” manner

Familiarity with Search, Social Media & Mobile data analysis a plus

Able to use good judgment when making business decisions and performing tasks

Able to apply critical thinking and analysis in business writing

 

Work environment

Long hours are often necessary; evenings and/or weekend work may be required.  And there can be a limited amount of travel associated with this position.  Conill’s is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment.  There may be times when lifting up to 25lbs is required.
